It will be a while before we know the characteristics of each lamb, but we already know there is an over abundance of rams! Stay tuned while we determine which ones might make good flock sires and which are better suited to a lazy life as a fibre wether (castrated male). We will add information to their descriptions as they develop.
If rams are considered by us to meet Shetland breed standards, they can be registered with North American Shetland Sheepbreeders Association and / or Canadian Livestock Records Corporation.
Pricing: Rams $400, Ewes $350, Wethers $250
Lambs will be ready to go to their new homes by early September.
At this point we do not have any mature ewes of breeding age for sale, but we may be able to cooperate with other flocks in western Canada to put together a breeding group for someone interested in starting a registered flock of their own.
